#154 – PLAGUE AND PESTILENCE
"And I saw another sign in heaven, great and wonderful: seven angels having the seven last plagues. For in them is filled up the wrath of God." - Apocalypse 15:1
"Our Lady told you several years ago that there would be great floods, and there were great floods; that there would be a great heat, and that will come soon; and after that there will be a great plague.* You had a plague now, My children—two diseases, unknown in cure for mankind. Did not My Mother pass along to you that knowledge that there would be diseases that your scientists will not be able to explain nor stop? They will find no cure for it."
- Jesus, June 18, 1983
"The children are the true victims of their elders. The example given to them is poor. Many children shall be removed from the world, My child. It will be necessary for the salvation of their souls. It will be a great plague.*"
- Our Lady, April 5, 1975
"AIDS was a plague, and is a plague, and shall continue to be a plague, as long as you will not change your course of destruction. What else must We allow to come upon you? No, My children, there will be no relief for those suffering from AIDS; for it is a penance from a just God. For their punishment will be greater, the suffering that they incur will save many from hell, and give them the chance to enter upon a penance in purgatory."
- Jesus, June 6, 1987
"There will be sent upon your country a plague. Many shall die. When the great rains start, know that many shall die."
- Our Lady, September 13, 1975
"Do not be affrighted, My child; I realize that this has given you a feeling of terror, for the AIDS plague has hit many: all the known and unknown, and children as well. I would suggest, My children, that you guard yourselves well against this plague. If you must have a form of operation requiring transfusions, I would suggest that you have a member of your family donate this blood; for the other has been grossly—I say grossly—contaminated and will cause many deaths."
- Our Lady, October 6, 1988
"My Son has asked that I report to you that there shall be another plague upon mankind. Yes, My child and My children, another plague. For AIDS is a plague, and other illnesses that have gone by without any scientific recognition, are plagues from Heaven. They are allowed for the individual to retain a measure of love for his God. As long as he knows, as his time grows near to death, that it was because of his misconduct that he died a most unhurried and unscrupulously recognized a death. Yes, My children, there is much now in the world that you must protect yourselves against."
- Our Lady, October 5, 1985
"There will be visited upon your country a plague. Many children will be taken from your world. It will be an act of mercy from the Father. Many young souls will be destined for the kingdom of hell, claimed by Lucifer, were they to remain upon earth."
- Our Lady, February 1, 1973
A CURE IF . . .
"O My children, I hear your cries because of the AIDS epidemic in your country and the world. I plead for you to the Eternal Father, to remove this plague from among mankind. And I have great news for you this evening, My children. The Eternal Father and My Son have made it clear to Me that if man will repent of his ways that have given—been given to him by satan, We will see that you do have a cure for AIDS."
- Our Lady, June 18, 1990
"A country that shuts out its God starts down the path for its own destruction. A country that loses its morality has placed one foot already in hell. Servitude, desecration, soul destruction—all will reap what they have sown. Floods, great heat, death. You will have visited upon you a plague! Recognize now the finger of death will be placed upon your earth. When you pass through this crisis, many will be cleansed."
- Our Lady, April 1, 1972
All mothers will now see that their children remain close to the sacraments. Many children will be taken out of the world in the plague. Many parents will shed bitter tears, but it will be too late.
- Veronica, July 25, 1972
"Sin, My child, has become a way of life. Whatever shall become of the children, the little ones?
"It is for this reason, My child, that the Father plans to send a plague upon the world. Many young will die. It is in this manner that many young will be saved. Pray, My child, much, for many parents will cry bitter tears."
- Our Lady, December 6, 1974
"The great heat will be sent upon mankind. The plague will follow."
- Our Lady, October 2, 1974
"There will be visited upon your country and the world a great plague*. Many children will die in this cleansing—young souls rescued from the contamination of a world that has given itself to satan!"
- Our Lady, March 18, 1973
"Wars are a punishment for man's sins; famines, pestilence, great heat, the plague. The major catastrophe to mankind is approaching. Warnings have been given and gone by unnoticed. Man continues upon his way of evil. Many are selling their souls to get to the head."
- Jesus, April 9, 1977
"Little did the world recognize the three plagues which originated from the mind of the Eternal Father. These plagues were called the Legionnaires' Disease, Herpes, and AIDS. But, My children, as I told you in the past, many years ago, My child and My children, the bad shall be glorified and the good shall suffer. However, these diseases that came upon mankind originated through the merciful heart of the Eternal Father. Sufferings were brought upon those who must cleanse their souls to avoid hell."
- Jesus, August 21, 1985
"The great plague* and darkness will come before the Ball of Redemption."
- Our Lady, March 25, 1973
"I know, My children, you are all heartbroken, but there are-many families are heartbroken because of the entrance of AIDS upon the world. Can I not say that you were not warned of this, My children?
"I tell you this now, there will come within a short time a greater plague. Yes, My child, I know that you have feelings of shivering, but it must be."
- Jesus, October 2, 1987
"I repeat once more for your edification: your country will meet with great disaster. Floods, great heat, and the plague. The mercy of the Father has been extended to its limit. Only a complete reversal in your evil ways will avert the Chastisement planned by the Father for your country and the world."
- Our Lady, September 7, 1973
"Man has chosen to destroy life created by the Father. Innocent souls are sent on the road to the prince of darkness. With the coming plague, many of the young will be removed before they become of the age of reasoning, held accountable by the Father for their actions. It is an act of mercy from a sorrowing Father."
- Our Lady, April 14, 1973
Veronica - Our Lady is standing over by the right side of the tree, directly above it. And Michael now is remaining above Our Lady's statue, high in the sky. He's looking down, and he's pointing now over to the spear, with his spear onto the left side of our sky here, and there are letters forming in the sky, in black letters: "PESTILENCE AND WAR."
Now Michael is pointing with the spear, and there is a black horse running across the sky. It's a large black, ominous-looking horse, and it has a rider on it. The rider is dressed all in black; he looks almost like an executioner. He has a hood upon his head, and he's carrying something in his hand. I don't know what it is. It looks like a basket of some kind. Now behind him there's a green horse, and the green horse is, has also an ominous look. And now there's a voice crying: "Pestilence and sickness. Illness of the body. Pestilence, illness of the body."
- August 14, 1976
"The red horse is war! And war is in the balance next, My child. And what can you do about this? This is My direction from Heaven—and We hope, My children, that you will get this out to the world: Unless the bishops and the Holy Father in unity with all the bishops of the world, unless they consecrate Russia to My Mother's Immaculate Heart, the world will be doomed! Because Russia will continue to spread her errors throughout the world, rising up wars and carnage and pestilence and famine. Is this what you want, My children?"
- Jesus, June 17, 1989
"Pray, My children, a constant vigilance of prayer. Pray that your leaders will recognize the signs given by your God. Shall these increase in volume: the earthquakes, the pestilence, the fires, the floods, the great heat? My children, who holds the balance for this? You, My children, do! The merciful heart of the Father watches patiently, but I repeat: the sands are fast running out of the hourglass."
- Our Lady, March 18, 1977
"The great War is approaching. There will be wars and rumors of wars increasing throughout your world; earthquakes and pestilence."
- Our Lady, April 2, 1977
"If you proceed ignoring My counsel and My direction, you will see many nations disappear from your world within moments. Hunger and starvation, famine, disease, pestilence."
- Our Lady, June 13, 1981
THE MURDERS OF THE UNBORN
"Your city and many cities throughout your country shall feel the plague. It is for the murders of the unborn that your city receives the plague."
- Our Lady, September 13, 1975
"You have your chance now, as My Mother pleads for your cause, to stop what you are doing now that displeases the Eternal Father, or you shall be sent, within the next year, a far worse plague upon mankind, if the great Chastisement hasn't already overcome you."
- Jesus, June 6, 1987
"In the Holy City of Rome and in the country on the sea there will be a plague. In the country on the waters of England there will be a plague."
- Our Lady, April 5, 1975
* "Great plague": Avian Flu? Smallpox? SARS?
The New York Times
reported on October 8, 2005 that a plan developed by the Bush administration
to deal with any possible outbreak of pandemic flu shows that the United
States is woefully unprepared for what could become the worst disaster in
the nation's history. The plan outlines a worst-case scenario in which more
than 1.9 million Americans would die and 8.5 million would be hospitalized
with costs exceeding $450 billion.
Michael Specter reports in "Nature's Bioterrorist" (p.50), in the February 28, 2005, issue of The New Yorker: "No such virus has ever spread so quickly over such a wide geographical area," Specter notes, and, unlike most viruses, "this one has already affected a more diverse group than any other type of flu, and it has killed many animals previously thought to be resistant." One farmer whose chickens were killed by the virus says, "It's damn hard to watch. One day, they're all alive and healthy-the vets were here the week before to check them-and the next day they're dying by the thousand. It happened so quickly. They started shivering, thousands of them at once. And then they started to fall. Every one of them. They just fell over, dead." Scott Dowell, the director of the Centers for Disease Control's Thailand office, tells Specter, "The world just has no idea what it's going to see if this thing comes. When, really. It's when. I don't think we can afford the luxury of the word 'if' anymore.... The clock is ticking. We just don't know what time it is."
Robert Webster, a virologist at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in Memphis, who has been studying avian influenza for decades, is even more stark. "This is the worst flu virus I have ever seen or worked with or read about," he says. "We have to prepare as if we were going to war--and the public needs to understand that clearly. This virus is playing its role as a natural bioterrorist. The politicians are going to say Chicken Little is at it again. And, if I'm wrong, then thank God. But if it does happen, and I fully expect that it will, there will be no place for any of us to hide. Not in the United States or in Europe or in a bunker somewhere. The virus is a very promiscuous and effective killer."
Smallpox, because of its high case-fatality rates and transmissibility, now
represents one of the most serious bioterrorist threats to the civilian
population. Over the centuries, naturally occurring smallpox, with its
case-fatality rate of 30 percent or more and its ability to spread in any
climate and season, has been universally feared as the most devastating of all
the infectious diseases....
Russia still possesses an industrial facility that is capable of producing tons of smallpox virus annually and also maintains a research program that is thought to be seeking to produce more virulent and contagious strains. An aerosol release of smallpox virus would disseminate readily given its considerable stability in aerosol form and epidemiological evidence suggesting the infectious dose is very small. Even as few as 50-100 cases would likely generate widespread concern or panic and a need to invoke large-scale, perhaps national emergency control measures.
Several factors fuel the concern: the disease has historically been feared as one of the most serious of all pestilential diseases; it is physically disfiguring; it bears a 30 percent case-fatality rate; there is no treatment; it is communicable from person to person; and no one in the U.S. has been vaccinated during the past 25 years. Vaccination ceased in this country in 1972, and vaccination immunity acquired before that time has undoubtedly waned. (Johns Hopkins University, "Center for Civilian Biodefense Studies")
Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) is a respiratory illness that has been reported in Asia, North America and Europe. It is an atypical pneumonia of unknown aetiology, and was recognized at the end of February 2003. Symptoms include:
• Fever greater than 100.4°F
• Overall feeling of discomfort
• Body aches
• Some people experience mild respiratory symptoms.
• After 2 to 7 days, SARS patients may develop dry cough and have trouble breathing.
appears to be primarily spread by close person-to-person contact. Most cases
have involved people who cared for or lived with someone with SARS, or who had
direct contact with infectious material (such as respiratory secretions) from
an infected person.
Potential ways in which SARS can be spread include touching the skin of contaminated people or objects and then touching your eyes, nose or mouth. This can happen when a SARS-infected person coughs or sneezes droplets on themselves, other people or nearby surfaces.
It also is possible that SARS can be spread more broadly through the air or by other ways that are currently unknown.
Mad Cow Disease (BSE)
1986, Dr. Richard Lacey of Leeds University warned that
Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE or mad cow disease; called
Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease or CJD in humans) was in the British meat supply,
and that a wave of human deaths would hit Britain. He said that people should
stop eating beef and that the newspapers should start warning people of the
possibility of infection. Funding for Lacey's research was cancelled and he
was fired from his research position at Leed's University. Dr. Lacey's warning
were ignored and suppressed.
In 1987, 700 BSE infected cows were reported in Britain. By the summer of 1988, the number had climbed to 7,000. By late 1994, the figure had risen to 36,000.
In June 1988, the British government ordered the compulsory slaughter and destruction of the carcasses of all affected cattle. But it was already too late. BSE infection had already flooded into the meat supply and infected many unsuspecting British citizens.
John Collinge of St Mary's Hospital in London says that a major epidemic could still occur. "It may only involve hundreds, but it could be Europe-wide and become a disaster of biblical proportions," Dr Collinge said. "We have to face the possibility of a disaster with tens of thousands of cases."
BSE has subsequently spread across Europe to cattle in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, and as of June 2001 to the Czech Republic. To date, almost 200,000 cattle are known to have contracted BSE.
Australia, Canada, Germany, Japan, New Zealand, Switzerland, and the United States now exclude blood donations from anyone who has resided in Britain for 6 months or more during 1980 to 1996. In January 17, 2001, the FDA ordered a ban on blood donations in the U.S. from anyone who has lived in Britain or Ireland longer than six months, between the years 1980 and December 1996. This ban on donating blood is for life!
In an article by Lynette J. Dumble entitled "Mad Cow Disease: A Manmade Pandemic Set to Put AIDS in the Shade," 1 microbiologist Dr. Stephen Dealler states, "At the moment the number of cases of CJD we are seeing are doubling every year. If they double for a long time then the numbers are in millions...."
