This photograph was taken by request of another pilgrim who could not attend the vigil that evening, who asked Our Lady for some sign concerning the coming Chastisement. Visible in the photograph are a dome-like formation of Rosaries above the Shrine statue, as if to represent a protective shield. Our Lady has told us, "The beads of prayer will be the major instrument for the lessening of the Chastisement upon your country." (Our Lady, April 14, 1973) We can save America the Rosary way: "I am the Queen of the Universe, the Mediatrix of all graces, but first and above all I am your Mother! I have come to warn you, to protect you for many will be lost to us. You all, in the final decision, will have made your own choice. I bless you all, My children, with a shower of graces from Heaven.
